A useful air freight quotation starts with a clear description of the shipment. This checklist helps businesses and individuals prepare an enquiry for Rabel International in Saudi Arabia. It is a preparation guide; acceptance, routing and charges are confirmed for each shipment.
1. Identify the collection point and destination
Give the origin and destination countries and cities. State whether you need collection from an address or intend to hand the cargo over at an agreed receiving point. Tell the team whether the destination arrangement is airport collection or another delivery requirement. A city name alone may not describe the complete scope.
2. Describe the contents accurately
Use a clear goods description instead of “general items.” Explain what the goods are and whether the shipment is commercial or personal. Declare batteries, liquids and any contents that may require special review. Do not assume an item is acceptable just because a similar item has been shipped before.
3. Measure after packing
Record the number of packages, their weights and their length, width and height after packing. If packages differ, list each size and its quantity separately. Include the packaging in the measurements. If measurements are provisional, say so and provide confirmed figures when available.
4. Explain timing and related services
Provide the readiness date and explain any deadline. Identify packing, collection, clearance coordination or delivery requirements you want reviewed. Ask which items are included in the quotation and which require a separate arrangement. A requested deadline is not a confirmed arrival date.
5. Prepare documents for review
Documentation depends on the goods and route. Ask the team what is required for your particular shipment before handover. Where relevant, make sure the goods description, package count and weights agree across the information and documents you provide.

Before you approve the quotation
Review the service scope, chargeable-weight basis, included and excluded charges, quotation validity, document requirements and handover arrangements. If the cargo details change, ask whether the quotation needs to be revised. An enquiry does not itself confirm a booking.
